Multiple use item: While these are Milk Savers used to collect leaking breastmilk, they work well to be used over the Avent Niplette to keep the device from dislodging while being worn. They are similar to the Medela Soft Shells for sore nipples, but do not have the vented holes so these can be used to catch leaking breastmilk. To use over the Niplette: After the Niplette is secure, center this over the Niplette inside the bra to protect the Niplette from being dislodged. These can also be used for sore nipples: place the device over the nipple when medication is on the nipple to keep it from sticking to the bra to allow for nipple wound healing. *Use over the opposite breast when breastfeeding or single pumping to catch spraying milk. *Place quickly inside bra if experiencing a 'let down' to catch leaks. *Do not use at night for leaking breastmilk. *Do not use for long periods of time or breastmilk will need to be discarded. Directions: *Wash the breast cups with hot soapy water, rinse well and sterilize before first use. *Make certain Milk Savers are completely dry before placing in bra. *Wash hands prior to using. *Place inside bra, centering the round opening over the nipple with the pour spout positioned at the top. *Adjust bra for a snug fit. *After milk has finished spraying/leaking, lean forward to grasp Milk Savers to avoid spillage and lift bra to remove. *Use the pour spout to transfer milk to an approved breastmilk storage container to refrigerate or freeze. *Rinse milk from cups with cold water, separate silicone from plastic parts, then wash in hot soapy water rinsing thoroughly. Once dry, they will be ready for next use.
