Because most skin care products take a month or longer to see if any of the claimed results actually work, I typically write first impressions. This one ounce bottle (typical of serums) comes in a frosted glass bottle with a chrome colored lid and glass dropper. It comes nicely packaged in a silver box with the claim, "this light-weight hyaluronic acid formula helps to improve the appearance of fine lines and deep wrinkles. Making skin appear more radiant, reduce fine lines, crow's feet and discoloration. After 12 weeks, deep wrinkles are visibly reduced. This formula glides on easily and absorbs quickly, leaving skin feeling smooth and velvety and is ideal for use under makeup." After having started a skin care regiment that includes various serums (vitamin c, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid), I can attest that products that contain these ingredients do help with fine lines and dark spots. I was excited to see a product that contains what ingredients I feel is most important in my skin care regiment - hyaluronic acid, vitamin C & E, niacinamide. This once also contains apple stem cell and I am not exactly sure what that helps but fruit extracts are in a lot of facial care products. It is easily applied to my face and is not thick or sticky and absorbs quickly. It "played" nicely with my moisturizer and makeup and I really enjoy using this product after washing my makeup off for the night as the one serum I use before moisturizing. There is absolutely no fragrance which is a big plus in my book. I have very sensitive skin so I did what I usually do before trying a new product and applied to my inner elbow with no side effects. After trying it on my face, I experienced no redness, swelling, skin peeling or breakouts (all of which I have experienced in the past from some products). My skin felt very nice and soft after application. I know I will enjoy having this product in my arsenal of skin care products to use for a long time to come. Highly recommend. This serum is thick, and feels highly moisturizing even on fingertips. 2 drops - not dropper fulls, covers my whole face, and neck, with great fluidity . There is not a tingle or sting it`s gentle , my face instantly feels refreshed, rejuvenated, and looks glowing and plump. After applying, and over the time of a few weeks of use my pores seem to look smaller and clearer, tone more even, skin smoother. I can feel that moisture is pulled in , sealed in, that the effect lasts through the day and night. I like this serum to use when I need the C , and when I am short on time - to be able to get more benefits from one serum rather than applying and waiting for the dry down and absorption of layering a few serums. I follow K Beauty skin care routines, and this little beauty fits right into that.
